Summer Day Camp

Muster into George Washington's army! Our Summer Day Camp provides children with a rich cultural experience, as well as lots of good plain fun.

  • Recreate camp life on the Old Barracks parade ground, used over 200 years ago by British, Hessian, and American Soldiers alike!
  • Cook in the 18th century manner!
  • Make your own 18th century gear!
  • Sing and dance to 18th century music!
  • March to local historic sites and drill according to Baron von Steuben's Manual of Arms!
  • Learn colonial crafts!
  • Create a memorable experience while enhancing your social studies knowledge!
  • Receive an Old Barracks T-shirt to complete your uniform!
Age: 9-12 years of age
Duration: Monday thru Friday,
8:30am to 4:00pm
Sessions: Session 1 - July 13th - July 17th, 2009
Session 2 - July 20th - July 24th, 2009
Tuition: $130 per session (Lieutenant Level Members)*
$190 per session (Non-members)
$25 non-refundable deposit
